25 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil
Bugs hate lavender! But if you’re already bitten by one, the smell can reduce your irritation and pain.
Lavender essential oil also has anti-inflammatory properties that treat a variety of skin ailments such as burns cuts, wounds, or scar tissues.
Note: Avoid using this oil if you are pregnant.
10 Drops of Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil and lavender have many of the same benefits. Tea tree oil is used to heal skin infections, treat ringworm, or remove ticks.
6 Drops of Spearmint Oil
Spearmint oil is another great insecticide, disinfectant and antiseptic.

Instructions
To make your own lip balm, you’ll first need to melt some beeswax in a double boiler.
The oils should then be added and mixed with the hot wax until it has cooled enough for use!
Pour into small jars or containers before putting on lids; store them at room temperature, in a cool and dark place.
