About Us

Hi there! Welcome to Gardening Soul

My name is Zac and I’m the CEO of Gardening Soul.

If you’re a beginner gardener, a professional gardener, or simply want to grow your own food in an eco-friendly way then this blog was made specifically for you.

Have you ever heard of a gardener that is not passionate about gardening? If so, then I bet their garden won’t be as successful and pretty.

In Gardening Soul, we want to show our readers how they can maintain an easy lifestyle by becoming self-sufficient in the easiest way possible! Whether it’s your hobby or passion, everyone will find something helpful here. We are all connected with nature because being mindful towards the environment has always been written into our souls!

There’s been more interest lately with people turning towards natural lifestyles and it makes us happy knowing that we are putting less pressure on our planet by creating sustainable homes & gardens that do not require much input from manmade resources, such as pesticides, which can kill off wildlife habitats nearby while also being detrimental to human health when consumed over time – so why not try something different?

There’s a reason that Gardening Soul is such an enthusiastic group of writers – we’re all gardeners at heart! Even though we all have different lifestyles in our homesteads or cities, what connects us is our love for gardening.

Zac is the founder of Gardening Soul and horticulturist with green-living skills; Joanna is a worldwide traveler who collects herbs & plants from all around the world; Melissa is an enthusiastic plants-woman and expert on plant knowledge. Linda created her urban oasis on the rooftop of a high-rise building and enjoys her abundant green garden and DIY creations.

We are passionate about writing because it comes naturally to us!

MEET THE TEAM

Zac Williams – Founder and a Horticulturist

Founder and a Horticulturist Hey everyone! All my life I had an interest in horticulture, plants, green living and nature. That’s why when the opportunity to study it came up at college, I leapt on that chance!

It was one of the best decisions of my life because not only did this lead me into working with gardening but also making friends globally who share similar interests in plant-care. Most importantly though is how blessed I am to be able to work with something which makes me feel alive every day!

Connect with Gardening Soul

Joanna Concord – Herbs & Plants Author and Editor

Herbs & Plants Author and EditorHey folks! Thanks for reading my bio.

My love for travelling naturally awakened my true self, and it made me realize that green-living is carved deep into my soul. That’s how I slowly became interested in gardening, natural plants and herbs, as well as sustainable lifestyle and organic eating.

Now, I can’t wait to travel to a different destination and learn all about the unique ways people use plant life there – every tribe has their own history with nature which they’ve learned over the years through trial & error (or success). For me personally though?

Plants are like human beings; give them some love and care… and you’ll get it back tenfold in return!

Melissa Beischel – Plant Expert, Author & Editor

Plant Expert, Author & EditorHey everyone! My name is Melissa and I am super glad that you’re reading my bio.

I’ve always known myself as a homesteader, ever since the days when I was just roaming into the woods and collecting flowers in my grandparent’s house with their enormous garden. Growing up on such an organic lifestyle definitely taught me how to preserve those lovely plants; they were like family members who deserved all of our attention (and love).

Sometimes it felt like we had more than one child running around this big log cabin—in fact, some people even said we lived off-the-grid because everything ran so smoothly without electricity or internet connection. It wasn’t until now that I realized what living naturally really meant: caring for your planet and Mother Nature.

I am a copywriter and freelance blogger because I have an affinity for language. My sense of humor, and ability to adapt quickly is what keeps me so busy!

Linda Parker – Freelance Writer and Passionate Gardener

Freelance Writer and Passionate GardenerHey everyone! My name is Linda and I am a freelance writer, blogger, and homesteader.

When I’m not writing or blogging about topics related to health/wellness, natural living & organic gardening – you can find me in my rooftop garden planting new plants or watering them 🙂

Or simply, enjoying my favorite cup of tea with my lovely friends – my plants!
